2025年7月16日上午起，浙江省杭州市余杭区有大量居民反映自来水出现恶臭、变色、充斥深色沉淀物等现象，部分居民表示身体不适，同时引发饮用水抢购潮[。该区的水务公司“余杭水务控股集团”7月16日深夜公告确认事件，称波及仁和与良渚两个“街道”。该公司至7月17日下午4时再发公告，称“水质经检测已恢复”，并就事件致歉，承诺每户减免5吨水费作为补偿。不过，直到7月18日近中午仍有居民反映自来水发黄。
